"She wants to use me, so be it."

Lawd have mercy!!

This book was one emotional and oh-so-sexy ride!

Tatum needs a muse for her upcoming novel.
A romance.
So she travels to find not only inspiration, but to heal her heart from a devastating past.
What she didn't know was all she needed was another wounded soul.

Angelo "Kid"  lives his life as simple as he can. Meaning he doesn't let many people in it.
After serving time for a heartbreaking moment in his youth, he isn't one to really mess with.
Until he sees her...

He can't push her away fast enough, and she can't stop pulling him back.

"You thought about me today."
"I suppose I did."
"I thought about you, too."
"Didn't expect any less."

Let me just say that I fell soooooo hard for Angelo from the get-go!
He's rough and ragged around the edges, but man, his soul is beautiful!!

The web that they each get tangled in can only be described as scorching!
The heat of their passion, their words, and their emotions...all of it combined is one hot tale.

"Can fiction be reality? Is this still about her writing a book? Or is it about us?"

I loved the whole concept of her writing a book along side him. The way they each tell their feelings as characters. What they want to say, and do, to each other told through the written word.

It's like love letters within a journal.
It's beautiful.

"So, we can keep--"
"Using each other?"
"I sure as hell hope so."

I honestly hated that I knew this book had to end.
I could have kept reading about Angelo and Tatum all day!

The push and pull of emotions and heartstrings was simply amazing to read.
You felt the pain and much as you felt the love.
You wanted to hug them both, and then push them together.

Another great novel from this duo!!
Can't wait for the next one!!!

"I wasn't supposed to fall in love.
How the hell did it happen?"
