Blurb:

My name is Tina. I’m a freshman at USC, a good student and friend…

And I’m a victim.

Hot guys make my brain turn to mush. So, the fact that I was arrested then survived a massive earthquake only to be shackled to the fox next to me can all be overlooked, right?

Okay, so I was arrested before I met Luke. A tremor that caused a blackout at the LAPD precinct where we were being held. Although technically, I wasn’t shackled to him, I was handcuffed, but still. Any and all lapses in my usual—totally sane, I might add—judgments, are his fault. Totally.
I wouldn’t typically do the things I did. I’m no outlaw. I’m a college student.

Review

"So? Car Thief?"
"Brawler or hooker?"
"Neither."
"Whatever you say."
"Whatever you say."

One night.

That's all it took to turn Tina and Luke's worlds upside down.

Tina was a freshman in college and studies were her main focus...until her roommate invited her to a concert on campus. Little did she know, that one concert would lead her to a night in the slammer.

Luke was a local mechanic who was in LA to help see after his college freshman brother. He had no clue that his said brother, and a sweet Firebird, would land him behind bars. Not mention right next to a beauitful, blonde bombshell.

One night.

"Trust me?"
"Let's go."

This was such a fun story!!

I immediately loved Tina and Luke! They were both focused people that were caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. Just when you think things couldn't get worse for them, you were wrong.

But when everything seemed to be going downhill, their attraction was skyrocketing up!

"Tell me this is okay."
"It's more than okay."

I love the twists and turns of this short story, and the nostalgic feel. I felt myself being transported back in time. The descriptions of the clothing, cars, and even the music, were on point!

I really enjoyed every single part of this book!! I'm so excited for the rest of this 80's series of books!

Tina and Luke are wonderful characters! I found myself smiling so much while reading!

Great job, Casey!

"You're something else, Tina."
"Because I let you pass to second base?"
"No...I like you."
"You don't know me."
"Let's fix that."
"Okay."
