About the Author
Ruth Cardello was born the youngest of 11 children in a small city in northern Rhode Island. She
was an educator for 20 plus years, the last 11 as a kindergarten teacher. When her school district
began cutting jobs, Ruth turned a serious eye toward her second love- writing and self-published
her first billionaire contemporary romance in 2011.
In 2012, her third book hit the New York Times and USA Today and the series went to auction in
New York. The scariest decision she made in her writing career was walking away from the seven
figure deal she was offered there. It was, however, the right choice for her. Her books have sold
well since and have far outearned that offer.
Her billionaire romances were purchased by several countries and been translated into many
languages, but she has retained her English rights on her books. She has recently branched out to
write cowboy romances for Montlake. She describes herself as a steady, mid-list author.
When she's not writing, she's chasing her children and husband around their small farm and
plotting her next family vacation.
