5 HOT STARS!!!

Lizzy is unhappy. She is stuck in a marriage that isn't what it used to be. Plus, she is always trying new ways to lose a little bit of weight to keep her husband, Jace, happy. No matter what she does, it seems that she will never have the attention from him that she desires.

"All I've ever wanted was to be loved , but if this is what love is...I'm not sure I want it anymore."

The only thing that gives Lizzy a break from reality is her book club meetings. Sure, they have books that they all read and discuss, but that's not the main reason they get together. Let's just say that as they sit around on the "Hill of Death" gabbing about anything and everything, and they wait to hear the lovely sounds of boots hitting the ground.

"If my butthole husband knew what I've been doing, he'd "sh*t twice and die" as Molly Ringwald once put it."

Lizzy and her friends have become pretty good friends with a handful of the guys from the local fire station. The guys love them just as much. They stop to see them on their training route, and get handed some cool water from the ladies. But one day something changed. One day a new fireman was introduced to the ladies, and Lizzy would never be the same.

"His light brown hair looks finger combed back and his hazel eyes could melt my boy shorts off in a split second."

Ryan has just come back to town from being part of a hotshot crew in Utah. He never expected that on his first day back, he would come face-to-face with an auburn haired beauty. No matter how much he tries to get closer to her, she always seems to pull away. He wanted to know her better. So, he started meeting up with her on her daily runs on that awful hill. It became "their" thing. But Ryan knows that there is more to Lizzy than her awesome musical taste, and the sass that comes out her mouth.

"Lizzy doesn't have that look of being complete. Content. But, she does light up when she sees me. Her smile does reach all the way to her eyes when we talk. That has to mean something."

I love the relationship between Lizzy and Ryan! It's so new and innocent...Plus hilarious! They work well together, and I hated that there was this huge "thing" hanging between them. Ya know, a marriage and all:/

"She turns me on like no other woman ever has without even touching me. And yet here she is...standing before me. Taken. Married. Completely hitched. And all I can do is smile."

Goodness, I fought for Lizzy and Ryan as much as they fought for themselves! Haha! I wanted her to dump that awful husband, and jump on that sexy fireman;) They both deserved it! Heck, the attraction came right off the pages! *fans self*

Gosh, I loved this book sooooo much!! Julie knows how to write a great book that has as much humor as it does swoon-worthy moments! I want to be a part of the "Fire Me Up" Book Club!!! Please?! Can I?! Those women are too funny, and I know I would have a blast:) Every person in this book got my attention and I can't wait until the rest of the series comes out!! Woohoo for more sexy firemen!!!
