Genevieve Labreck is back with a score to settle. Her mom has been kidnapped by Zane, hybrid and all-around monster. Rumors fly that Gen’s mom is holed away in Prague, a city recognized by humans for its serene beauty and intense culture, but Gen and Will know something humans don’t. Prague is haunted by dark, evil forces.
Can Genevieve and William save her mom, or will they be too late?
Some will live, others will fall. At what price do you walk away from those you love?
Top Ten Favorite Songs
by Robin P. Waldrop
Turn The Page—Bob Seger
Yes, “Turn The Page” IS my favorite song of all time. My husband and I are both Bob Seger fans. His favorite song is “Down On Main Street”. To choose which song we would play at our wedding reception, we played paper, rock, scissors. Needless to say, we danced to “Turn The Page” at our reception. ;o) I lost by the way…lol.
Ready For Love—Bad Company
Bad Company has to be one of my favorite bands of all time. When I was a young teen, we loved a couple blocks away from The Cincinnati Gardens in Ohio. They hosted all the big concerts. My sister, Karen, and I used to go to all of the concerts, but the most memorable was Bad Company, because our mom went with us …lol. Can you imagine what that was like?
Empire State of Mind—Alicia Keys feat. Jay Z
When I saw Step Up 3, I fell in love with this song. I’ve always wanted to visit New York. I hear this song and I picture myself riding in a limo, seeing the lights on Broadway, visiting all the top night clubs … Someday. (Sighs)
I’ll Be—Edward McCain
This song reminds me of two of my main characters, Genevieve and William. when I listen to this song I picture them alone some place, Genevieve’s head in William’s lap, quietly chatting and laughing. As the song ends, he leans down, gently pressing his lips to hers for the kiss of all kisses.
Fast Cars And Freedom—Rascal Flatts
My mother, from Florida, had a stroke Christmas day of 2005. I flew down to take care of her business affairs and to move her back to Alabama to live with me. It turned out to be more than I could handle by myself, so I drove back to Alabama to get my oldest daughter to help me. she had this CD, and we laughed and sang all during the night while driving back to Florida. It was one of the only happy memories I had during those emotionally tough times.
We Belong Together—Mariah Carey
I love Mariah Carey. Always have, always will. I especially loved her movie, Glitter. I could watch it over and over. Not to mention, Dice, her boyfriend in the movie, is HOT!!
Wild Ones—Flo Rida
This is another of those songs that has no special meaning, I just like the melody and the words. It puts me in such a good mood, I can really write after hearing this song.
Payphone—Maroon 5
This song is a favorite of another daughter of mine. She got her heart broken by a young man several months ago, and now he keeps calling her, wanting her back. So, I smile now when I hear this song.
Kryptonite—Three Doors Down
Kryptonite holds a special place in my heart. One of my daughters’ close friends bore the nickname “Superman” complete with the tattoo on his upper left arm. He lost his life ten years ago while riding in a car with another young man who happened to be drunk. He was only nineteen at the time. Still, to this day, when I hear this I am reminded of this young man and how his life was ripped out from under him at such a young age.
Whatever You Like—T.I.
This song made my top 10 simply because I love T.I.. The song doesn’t hold special meaning or anything, I did, however, love the video.

When I'm writing I sort of get absorbed into the pages, like I'm actually there writing from the inside. Does that even make sense to you? Lol prob not.
ReplyDeleteAnywho, thanks again and I hope you will be a part of the third book's tour as well. ;o)
