- Elizabeth Bennett
Jane Austen - Pride and Prejudice
I can safely say that I could make a top ten list of favorite characters using only the characters in this book. Besides Darcy, obviously, I could pick Mrs. Bennett, Mr. Bennett, Mr. Collins, Mr. Bingsley, and the other Bennett daughters. Everyone in this book was funny or entertaining or unforgettable. But Elizabeth always wins because she's just made of awesome. - Georgina Kincaid
Richelle Mead - Succubus Blues series
This also has a great favorite-worthy cast. Seth, Carter, Jerome.. they're all awesome. Georgina, however, will live on in my mind forever. Her story will get me every time. Such emotion and dedication to her. I absolutely adore her. - Abby Normal
Christopher Moore - A Love Story trilogy
She is just downright amazingly hilarious. The audio books bring her to life so much. She's entertaining, funny, and so ridiculous. I'll never forget Abby Normal. I'd re-listen to these books just to listen to her dialogue again. Oh goodness. LOVE her. - Gerry Kennedy
Cecelia Ahern - PS, I Love You
Wow. Just wow. If only all guys were this thoughtful and loving, especially when they're dying. Right?? This is another character whose actions I will not soon forget. - Georgia Nicolson
Louise Rennison - Confessions of Georgina Nicolson series
If you haven't had the pleasure of reading about young Georgia and the hilarity that is her life, then you may not have a sense of humor. Goodness gracious, she is so funny! Her band of friends, her family, the cat.. it's all just too much. She's trying to navigate her pubescent body and school and life. And I can't explain how many times I laughed. :o) - Stephanie Plum
Janet Evanovich - Stephanie Plum series
Who doesn't love Stephanie Plum? Her crazy antics make me laugh so hard. Again, this is another series with such a great cast! Lula, Grandma Mazur, Ranger, Joe, Connie, Vinny.. you just can't go wrong!! - Darcy Rhone
Emily Giffin - Something Borrowed/Something Blue
I absolutely couldn't STAND Darcy in Something Borrowed. I loved that book but pretty much hated her. Then Something Blue came along, and Darcy's growth in that book allows the readers to warm up to her so much more. She's definitely a character that grew on me! - Hannibal Lecter
Thomas Harris - Hannibal Lecter series (Silence of the Lambs, etc)
Uh yeah. He's just an intriguing character. He's so freaking out there and wacko. But he's usually calm and collected about it. It's fascinating. And Clarice, of course, is a character to watch. She's got something psycho in her too. Goodness. Great series. - Crispin Phillip Arthur Russell III (AKA Bones)
Jeaniene Frost - Night Huntress series
Yeah, what's not to love?! Seriously. I love him especially when he's with Cat. They're phenomenal together. He's so badass and awesome. If you've read any of the Night Huntress books, then you'd know why I love Bones. Oh yeah. - Henry/Clare
Audry Niffenegger - The Time Traveler's Wife
Their story is so memorable. It's really hard to forget a book like The Time Traveler's Wife. It's so different and heartbreaking. The novel is amazing. If you haven't read it, probably you should soon. Henry and Clare are so unique because their story is unique. If you're a fan of adult level novels, read this one. Seriously. - Minny Jackson
Kathryn Stockett - The Help
Minny is SO full of attitude and awesome. She's snippy and witty and she takes no bull. She's a smart woman who wants her life to be different and she finally does something about it. I love Minny's character since she brings such life to this book. Love her!
I love my list because I love all of these characters!! They all make me smile, cry, laugh, or just enjoy a good book. Let me know what you think of my list, and please leave me a link to your list! I'd love to check it out!
