TGIF and Week In Review (39)

Book Series Finales: Which book, from any series has been your favorite ending? What about your least favorite ending?

I absolutely love when a series ends well. I almost always don't want a series to end, but it's nice when they end well. I've loved the endings to all of Meg Cabot's series books. Most of Charlaine Harris's books are over and those ended well.

One of my favorite series ending is also one of my least favorites. Richelle Mead took the safe route when ending her Succubus series. I won't say anything, but it's honestly thoroughly predictable. While it's one of my favorites, I was sad that I knew exactly how the whole tragic story would go from book one. It was just how I wanted it all to go, but it was almost disappointing that there was no surprise. Is that weird? I don't know. Either way, if you haven't read that series, do check it out!!

My real least favorite ending to a series is the end of the Bubbles Yablonsky series. If you haven't read the Bubbles series, you honestly should. It's hilarious and so so so entertaining, but the very end of the final book is total crap. It came completely out of left field, made no sense, and wasn't even a satisfying surprise ending. Goodness. I wish I had someone to talk about this with. It was crazy!!
