This past weekend I went to the Tucson Festival of Books with a few friends and fellow blogger Jenny over at
Books to the Sky. We had a really good time. We did more than just bookish stuff, but the book parts were fantastic! This festival makes me hardly able to wait until Chicago and RT :o) Here are some pictures of this great weekend!
First thing Deanna and I saw were these crazy instruments. They remind me of the ones from those Ricola commercials.. lol.
Then right off the bat on Saturday morning we caught Ellen Hopkins speaking with two other cool authors. I got my
Perfect ARC signed and got a picture with the awesome woman! It was really cool. She's so real.. I love it!
Sunday morning we caught a panel with Aprilynne Pike and R.L. Stine among others. It was a pretty great book chat, and who doesn't get nerdy over R.L. Stine?! Dude.. I read those Goosebumps books like CRAZY when I was younger! So it was such a thrill when..
..I met him and he signed my nook cover!!!! GAHHH I was so excited! I was probably the oldest person in line getting stuff signed, but I don't care. It was fantastic. He was so cool about it. What a great experience!
Saturday night we went to a place called Lindy's on 4th. It's been on Man Vs. Food, and it has crazy burgers with even crazier names.. lol. This one has potato salad on it, and it's called the Picnic Basket. I got it with loaded french fries, and it was delicious!!!! YUM.

It looks like you had a wonderful time!! OMG that burger looks delish!! I love Man vs Food and I want to go to so many of the places he's gone to on the show. :)
