These are books I'd take the day off work from in order to stay home and read them. Yeah, they're good ones! They're all ones I've read and would recommend staying home to read!! I'm making two lists though (adult and YA). And if the book is the first in the series, then stay home and read the other books in the series as well! :o) In no particular order..Adult:

Alrighty! There are my lists! I think all of these books are fabulous and worth taking a sick day to enjoy. Hopefully you've read some of them, and for the ones you haven't read, you should add them to your TBR pile for sure :o) Enjoy!!
Awesome list! I love Graffiti Moon and Anna & The French Kiss! And of course, The Hunger Games. These are the books I totally would play hooky with :)

Oh good lists! I loved Water for Elephants and Time traveler. Emily Giffin lives right by me but I have yet to read her stuff.
