TGIF and Week In Review (38)

Hosted by Ginger over at G-Reads, TGIF is a way to recap the week on your blog and answer a fun question she asks bloggers. Linking up spreads the word, so visit her blog for more info and to participate! :o) Here's the question for this week:

Book Blogger Retreat: If you could gather up a handful of book blogger friends to spend a weekend away talking books, where would you go? Tell us about it.

I would love to go ANYWHERE for a weekend to do nothing but talk books! One fantastic place that I've been recently is Sedona, AZ. I freaking love it up there. The weather is beautiful, the scenery is gorgeous, and there are bookish things up there, of course. I'd honestly go anywhere if time and money weren't factors, but Sedona is such a fabulous place with great energy.

Where would you go for a weekend of book chat? Let me know! Happy weekend!!

"Waiting on" Wednesday - Masque of the Red Death

Hosted by Breaking The Spine, this section will feature future upcoming releases that I personally am excited about. These will generally be coming up later in the year. Let me know what you're looking forward to, or even what you're writing, and maybe I'll feature it here as well.

Bethany Griffin - Masque of the Red Death

• Pub Date: April 24, 2012
• Publisher: Harper Collins
• Format: Hardcover, 320pp
• Age Range: Young Adult

Everything is in ruins.

A devastating plague has decimated the population. And those who are left live in fear of catching it as the city crumbles to pieces around them.

So what does Araby Worth have to live for?

Nights in the Debauchery Club, beautiful dresses, glittery make-up . . . and tantalizing ways to forget it all.

But in the depths of the club—in the depths of her own despair—Araby will find more than oblivion. She will find Will, the terribly handsome proprietor of the club. And Elliott, the wickedly smart aristocrat. Neither boy is what he seems. Both have secrets. Everyone does.

And Araby may find something not just to live for, but to fight for—no matter what it costs her.

Sounds interesting, doesn't it?! I love this cover, too. I hope the story is great!! What are you waiting for today? Send me a link!

Top Ten Tuesday - Spring Fever

Hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, this feature includes random weekly bookish top tens. This week's list is - top ten books I'd play hooky with. These are books I'd take the day off work from in order to stay home and read them. Yeah, they're good ones! They're all ones I've read and would recommend staying home to read!! I'm making two lists though (adult and YA). And if the book is the first in the series, then stay home and read the other books in the series as well! :o) In no particular order..

Adult:

YA:

Alrighty! There are my lists! I think all of these books are fabulous and worth taking a sick day to enjoy. Hopefully you've read some of them, and for the ones you haven't read, you should add them to your TBR pile for sure :o) Enjoy!!
