Blog Tour: Beth Ann Masarik - The World Among Us

Thank you for having me on the blog today, Mickey! I really appreciate this opportunity. I was going to have one of my characters fill this out, but, unfortunately, they all seem to be asleep. SO, now you get to see what I prefer :o) But, don’t worry, Selene & Damien will be around on Tuesday’s blog for some interview questions. They must be getting ready for their first interview as a couple. Everyone together now say, “Awe!” LOL. Now, for my answers.

  • Chocolate or Vanilla?
Oh, most definitely chocolate. And even better? Milk Chocolate, though, white chocolate is OK once in a while. Dark chocolate is too bitter for my liking.
  • Computer or Television?
It honestly all depends on my mood. Usually, the computer means work for me, so, when I want to really unwind, I stick with the television.
  • Myspace or Facebook?
Years ago, I would have said Myspace. But, let’s face it, Myspace has gone down hill, and everyone I know (or at least 90% of everyone I know), has a Facebook. So…Facebook.
  • Sandals or Sneakers?
Actually, neither. I love my Rockports baby! (So much better than Sneakers!)
  • Pool or beach?
Pool…I have issues with swimming in salt water…yuck!
  • Vampires or Werewolves?
Vampires…most definitely. There’s something sexy about a blood sucker lol.
  • Mashed potatoes or French fries?
If it’s my mom’s mashed potatoes, then I’ll say mashed potatoes. If it’s not, then French fries.
  • Blind or Deaf?
Hmm. I would have to say being deaf, because I know some sign language (took it in high school and college as my language elective)
  • Potato chips or Popcorn?
Oh man, you’re really going to make me choose? I usually go for potato chips (usually sour cream & onion yum!), but every so often, I’ll get a craving for buttered popcorn.
  • Cake or Ice cream?
Can’t I have Ice cream cake?
  • Call or Text?
Call…sometimes it’s nice to hear the other person’s voice. BUT, texting is so much more convenient.
  • Black or White?
Nothing is ever really black or white these days, so how about I say grey?
  • Scuba diving or Bungee jumping?
    Ummm…neither.
  • All or Nothing?
Give it your all, because the rewards will be great!

Originally starting as a writing assignment for college, The World Among Us series has sparked up a role playing group online, and a fan base of over 300 followers on Facebook, and over 600 followers on Twitter.

Beth Ann lives in New York where she is a legal assistant and works with the youth in her parish. When she isn’t writing, Beth can be found reading, bowling or role playing.

  3. Great interview, Beth! By the way, in several post on your blog tour mention that "The World Among Us series has sparked up a role playing group online" on facebook. I've been looking for it, but I can't find it. What is it called?
