TGIF and Week In Review (30)

Hosted by Ginger over at G-Reads, TGIF is a way to recap the week on your blog and answer a fun question she asks bloggers. Linking up spreads the word, so visit her blog for more info and to participate! :o) Here's the question for this week:

First & Last: What was the first book you read in 2011 and the last you finished in 2011? How do you feel about these books? Would you recommend them to other readers?

The first book I read this year is First Drop of Crimson by Jeaniene Frost. This is the first book in the Night Huntress World series. If you're reading the Night Huntress series, this book (and the second one, Eternal Kiss of Darkness) should be read after book 4 in the series. I absolutely love this whole series. Cat and Bones are amazing, but even the World books hold up! Jeaniene Frost is the woman!

The last book I read this year (so far) is Saving June. I still have to finish Dearly, Departed and The Girl Who Played With Fire, and I should by Saturday. Hopefully anyway!

I have thoroughly enjoyed this year of reading! It's been up and down, but all in all it's been pretty fantastic. This is my first year of blogging, and it's honestly been so wonderful. I couldn't have done it without many of you, so THANK YOU! Happy New Year, everyone!!
