Blog Tour: Michelle Madow - Remembrance

I am pleased to present an awesome top ten list from Michelle Madow, author of Remembrance, on this blog tour post! She's here on the blog today letting all of us know her top ten most anticipated upcoming sequels! But first, please check out the blurb on her book, Remembrance.

Michelle Madow - Remembrance

• Pub. Date: July 2011
• Publisher: Dreamscape Publishing
• Format: eBook/Paperback
• Age Range: Young Adult

Inspired by Taylor Swift's "Love Story" music video ...

New Hampshire high school junior Lizzie Davenport has been reincarnated from Regency Era, England ... but she doesn't know it yet.

Then Drew Carmichael transfers into Lizzie's school at the beginning of the year, and she feels a connection to him, almost like she knows him. She can't stop thinking about him, but whenever she tries talking with him about the mysteries behind her feelings, he makes it clear that he wants nothing to do with her. Reaching him is even more difficult because she has a boyfriend, Jeremy, who has started to become full of himself after being elected co-captain of the varsity soccer team, and her flirtatious best friend Chelsea starts dating Drew soon after his arrival. So why can't she seem to get him out of her mind?

Even though Lizzie knows she should let go of her fascination with Drew, the pair of them soon find that fighting fate isn't going to be easy.

"Top Ten Sequels I Can't Wait For!"

1) Insurgent by Veronica Roth

Divergent was my favorite book of 2011, so I can’t wait for the rest of the series!

2) A Million Suns by Beth Revis

Across the Universe was so cool—I loved the sci-fi spaceship concept, and am very excited for the next book.

3) Fear by Michael Grant

The Gone series is one of my favorite current series—it’s such a cool concept—so I’m so excited for the next installment.

4) The Golden Lily by Richelle Mead

I love the Vampire Academy series, and was excited when Bloodlines came out, because we get to see more of the fabulous world Richelle Mead created. My favorite character in this series = Adrian!

5) The Lucky Ones by Anna Godbersen

The end of Beautiful Days left me wanting more, so I can’t wait to see what happens to the three girls in the Bright Young Things series!

6) Bloodrose by Andrea Cremer

I love the Nightshade series! Am hoping Calla ends up with Ren … but I don’t think she’s going to L

7) Feedback by Robison Wells

This is the sequel to Variant, a book I loved that kept me on my toes the whole time I was reading it.

8) Daughter of Smoke and Bone #2 by Laini Taylor

The sequel hasn’t been titled yet, but The Daughter of Smoke and Bone was a beautiful book with a wonderfully created world. The end was such a cliffhanger though!

9) Hollowmen by Amanda Hocking

Loved Hollowland—great zombie book—and can’t wait to see what happens next!

10) Outpost by Ann Aguirre

I read the first book, Enclave, all in one sitting, and am excited to see this post-apocalyptic world developed further in Outpost.

About the Author:
In the fall of 2009, I saw Taylor Swift’s “Love Story” music video for the first time. I thought up a story to go along with the video, and decided to write the beginning of this story as a homework assignment for class. That story eventually became my first novel, Remembrance. I'm so happy to be able to share this novel with you, and hope you enjoy reading it as much as I loved writing it!

Check out my website to add me on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and my many other social networking sites. I love making new book friends! :)

I'm currently studying creative writing at Johns Hopkins University, and am hard at work writing more novels for young adults.

If you've bought Remembrance, recommended it to a friend, or even marked it as "to-read" on Goodreads, then you're definitely one of my favorite people in the world. Thank you for your support -- you ROCK! =)

  1. This one does look enticing...and the sequels are titles I recognize, but haven't read any of the books that preceded them!

I haven't read too many YA books...I'm currently reading one that is considered YA: You Are My Only.
