What Say You Saturday - Liar

(Picture - Credit to Ren)

Welcome to the first edition of What Say You Saturday that is open to bloggers! Ren @ Ren's Rambles has been working on this for a while and has decided to open this feature up as a weekly meme for bloggers. I think it's a fantastic way to get opinions on books you are on the fence about reading AND it's a great way to fangirl (or boy) about books you've read and really loved. Or didn't love. Either way! Want to play? Here are the rules:

  • Pick a book that's already been released (any genre is fine) that you've read and have a strong opinion about OR a book you are on the fence about reading & want more opinions on.
  • Create a post with the book's cover, title, and author, and explain your feelings for the book or why you aren't sure about reading it.
  • Include a link back to Ren's Rambles in each post.
  • Put your post up on Saturdays and link up in the linky at the bottom of the current What Say You Saturday post on Ren's Rambles. Link to the post itself, not just your blog.
  • You may use my What Say You image as long as you credit me for it or feel free to make your own.
  • Visit the other posts and give your opinion on their choices!
  • HAVE FUN!
Justine Larbalestier - Liar

• Pub. Date: September 2009
• Publisher: Bloomsbury USA
• Format: Hardcover 384pp
• Age Range: Young Adult

Micah is a liar. That's the one thing she won't lie about. Over the years, she's duped her classmates, her teachers, and even her parents. But when her boyfriend Zach dies under brutal circumstances, Micah sets out to tell the truth. At first the truth comes easily-because it is a lie. Other truths are so unbelievable, so outside the realm of normal, they must be a lie. And the honest truth is buried so deep in Micah's mind even she doesn't know if it's real.

The ultimate unreliable narrator takes readers on a thrill ride in this highly acclaimed novel. Prepare to grasp for truth until the very last page.

Sounds good, right? I haven't read this one yet, but I've had it on my TBR list for a while now. I've seen a couple reviews about how stunning the book is, but all the new stuff has started to become more important. I want to listen to the audio, and I have just started receiving audio books for review. The reviews should honestly be reason enough, but without spoiling too much I'd like to know if and why you think I should read this one! Let me know what ya think :o)

Happy Saturday!
