TGIF and Week In Review (14)

Hosted by Ginger over at G-Reads, TGIF is a way to recap the week on your blog and answer a fun question she asks bloggers. Linking up spreads the word, so visit her blog for more info and to participate! :o) Here's the question for this week:

Books to Television: Which books would you love to see made in to a tv series? or movie?

I would like to see the Private series by Kate Brian turned into a TV show. They tried with a movie/web series, and it wasn't all that great. Another good TV show would be The Adoration of Jenna Fox. I think I heard that they're making it into a movie, so I guess that works. But I could see a weekly production of this one.

Movies I'd love to see made:
  • Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost
  • Succubus series by Richelle Mead
  • Little Blue Envelope series by Maureen Johnson
  • Ten Things We Did by Sarah Mlynowski
  • Wither by Lauren DeStefano
  • Covenant series by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Of course I'd love to see more, but that's good for now. I love reading books and being able to see them like a movie in my head. :o)

  1. Oh I totally forgot about 10 Things We Did! That would make an excellent movie :-)

  2. I can't believe I forgot about 10 Things We Did!! I loved that book! I agree with Wither too! Also, Jennifer Armentrouts series! I really loved Daimon and Half-Blood! I really think they would make great TV shows or movies!

  3. Actually, I think the Little Blue Envelope books would be great, if only for the scenery. Plus, I think they would be able to cast it well.

  4. I've heard such good things about the Fox series that I think it actually has the meat to sustain itself through a tv series. I haven't read it, myself, though and I'm not a big tv person so, heck, I actually don't know what I'm talking about. ;O)
