Follow Friday (18) and Book Blogger Hop (16)

Hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read, Follow Friday allows bloggers to connect and discover new blogs. To participate, click the link, follow the rules, and follow new blogs! This week's blogs to follow are: Pedantic Phooka and Drying Ink!

Q. Have you ever wanted a villain to win at the end of a story? If so, which one??

A. Hmm.. nothing is jumping out at me, but I know I have. Take Anathema for example: You are almost not sure of who exactly the villain is. You want to trust Sofie (maybe only because I want all people/paranormal things to be good) but you're never quite sure of Sofie's "pals" throughout the book. And I still wanted them to be good guys and win. I guess that doesn't really count here, but that's my answer. I know it can happen, where I would want a villain to win. If I think of something, I'll let y'all know ;o)

Hosted by Crazy For Books in the spirit of the Twitter Friday Follow, the Book Blogger Hop is a place just for book bloggers and readers to connect and share our love of the written word! Click the picture on the side to visit her website for more info on how to join!

Q. Many of us primarily read one genre of books, with others sprinkled in. If authors stopped writing that genre, what genre would you start reading? Or would you give up reading completely if you couldn’t read that genre anymore?

A. I read many genres, so I would definitely NOT give up reading completely! That's out of the question. I would just read the other stuff I read. I like YA and adult, so I could venture to the other age group if needed. I like paranormal, mystery, suspense, romance (of sorts), non-fiction, urban fantasy, a little sci-fi.. I like a lot of different things, so no worries on the genre thing :o)

Happy Friday!!!

  3. I have plenty to worry about! I only read paranormal books--UF, Paranormal YA, some paranormal romance--but if they were to all disappear forever, then I would likely give up reading NEW books. I would just re-read my entire library collection for the rest of time, which is doable! :)

    Here's my Friday Hops

    Have a GREAT weekend!

  4. Hi!--returning follower from FF!

That's really interesting about not trusting the main character, and not being exactly sure who to root for--As for me, I *normally* root for the good guy, but I've been reading A Game of Thrones, and as much as I <3 the Starks, I can't help but root for Tyrion!--It's not his fault he was born a Lannister!

    Have a great weekend!

  8. I wouldn't give up reading either. There are so many different things to read even if new books in a favorite genre stopped being published. Please come see what I would read.
