Top Ten Tuesday - Books Without Reviews

Hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, this feature includes random weekly top tens. This week's list is - top ten books you loved but never wrote a review for (either books you loved and couldn't bring yourself to write a review for or books that you read long before blogging...time to give them a shout out!).

Mickey: So most of mine are just the books I read before blogging. I review everything I read these days, whether it be a few sentences or a few paragraphs. Good or bad, I'll review it. Part of the job, I guess! ;o)
  1. Mary Shelley - Frankenstein
I loved this one when I read it in high school, but that was before Goodreads and before my blog, so the review never happened. Good book though!
  2. Nathaniel Hawthorne - The Scarlet Letter
Also another great book that I read before Goodreads and the blog. I've read it a few times, but a review just won't happen right now.
  3. Most of Nicholas Sparks's novels
Just about all of these were read before I started reviewing, so they never happened. And they probably won't now unless I reread them.. lol. I really like his books though.
  4. Most of Jodi Picoult's novels
Her books are mostly very great, but reviews haven't happened and won't unless I reread. These books were pre-Goodreads and blog as well.
  5. Stephen Chbosky - The Perks of Being a Wallflower
This book was also read before reviewing, but I wasn't a fan, really. I'd have to read this one again and see how I feel about it before a review ever happens.
  6. James Redfield - The Celestine Prophecy
I couldn't stand this book, but good thing it was read before my reviewing days. I wouldn't have been nice. Ouch.
  7. Aldous Huxley - Brave New World
This is a favorite of mine. Read in high school, but I never reviewed it once I started using Goodreads. I gave it four stars, but I'd like to reread and maybe give it five!
  8. William Faulkner - As I Lay Dying
Blahhh. So not a Faulkner fan. I wouldn't be nice about this one if I tried to review it today, either. Read it in high school. Blah.
  9. Lolly Winston - Good Grief
I really liked this book when I read it the first time. I would definitely like to give this another read and review it sometime. I read it a while back.
  10. Stephenie Meyer - Twilight/Jane Austen - Pride and Prejudice
I have since reviewed these because I will never ever forget them, but I didn't review them the first time I read either of them. :o)
Stef: Since I'm still pretty new to book blogging, these are all ones I didn't review because I wasn't reviewing at the time. They're all great reads though!
  1. Polgara the Sorceress
  2. The Wise Man's Fear
  3. The Name of the Wind
  4. Daughter of the Blood
  5. Interview With the Vampire
  6. Jane Eyre
  7. Little Women
  8. The Rowan
  9. Regina's Song
  10. A Game of Thrones

  1. I rarely slam books, but I slammed Celestine Prophecy. Why was that book so popular?
