Follow Friday (14) and Book Blogger Hop (12)

Hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read, Follow Friday allows bloggers to connect and discover new blogs. To participate, click the link, follow the rules, and follow new blogs! This week's blogs to follow are: Jake @ Teen Fiction Centre and Steph @ Steph Likes Books.

Q. How have your reading habits changed since you were a teen? Or if you are still a teen, what new genres are you in love with currently?

A. I'm not still a teen, so I'll answer the first question.. lol. My reading habits as of late are a lot more extreme than when I was a teenager. I used to only read what I needed to read for school, and then that was even rare. Then I discovered Nicholas Sparks through a friend and began reading for pleasure. I'm very glad that I did because I may not be the reader I am today! And then I didn't read much for pleasure after that until the Twilight series, and even then I was late on that whole scene. I just love reading now, and every spare second is dedicated to that :o)

Hosted by Crazy For Books in the spirit of the Twitter Friday Follow, the Book Blogger Hop is a place just for book bloggers and readers to connect and share our love of the written word! Click the picture on the side to visit her website for more info.

Q. Let’s talk crazy book titles! Highlight one or two (or as many as you like!) titles in your personal collection that have the most interesting titles! If you can’t find any, feel free to find one on the internet!

A. First thing I thought of is the Love Story trilogy by Christopher Moore. Bloodsucking Fiends, You Suck, and Bite Me. Hilarious, right?! Water For Elephants always gets people going. They have no idea what it's about, but it's a title very appropriate for the story. I also think the titles of the Anita Blake books are very interesting! Check those out if you haven't yet. The titles, anyway. I've only read the first 5 books I believe. :o) Lastly, the titles for the Georgia Nicolson series by Louise Rennison are hysterical! Very eye catching covers, too. Love it!
Happy Friday!!!

  1. Hi, just hopping on by. I've always been a big reader, it's just the type of books and the format that have changed really.

  2. When I was a teen I loved reading paranormals and still do. Of course when I was 13 finding a paranormal YA was insanely hard! Would spend forever at Borders trying to find one! Now it's not a problem at all!

    Here's my Friday Hops

    Have a GREAT weekend!

  3. Twilight got me reading too. I would've have read very much if I hadn't read Twilight.

  4. I could never get into the Nicholas Spark's books. Friday Post!

  7. Hopping through. I've always read a lot but I read a lot more now. Twilight got me into paranormal.
