TGIF and Week In Review (8)

Character Envy: If you could be one character from a book, who would you choose & why?

Wow, great question! First character to come to mind was an obvious one: Elizabeth Bennett form Pride and Prejudice. This is my favorite novel, and I would love to go back to her era in England.. go to balls, wear those dresses, and fall in love with Darcy. :o)

If I could pick a less obvious one, I would like to be Cornelia Brown from Love Walked In/Belong To Me by Marisa de los Santos or even Abby Normal from Christopher Moore's Love Story trilogy. Cornelia only does what she loves. She has such support and love from her family, and she speaks her mind no matter the consequence. Abby Normal is just snarky and hilarious. I love her!

I did only restrict myself to female characters, but as we all know, I can never just pick ONE.. so I'll indulge in a male character as well. I'd love to say Darcy since I've never even thought about being on his side. That would be interesting. Another male character I'd like to be? Bones from the Night Huntress series.. ;o)
