TGIF and Week In Review (5)

Hosted by Ginger over at G-Reads, TGIF is a way to recap the week on your blog and answer a fun question she asks bloggers. Linking up spreads the word, so visit her blog for more info and to participate! :o) Here's the question for this week:

Blogger Confession: What's the last book you could not finish? (or had a hard time finishing?)

I have a very hard time not finishing a book! I can tell you that the last one I almost didn't finish was Talia Jager's If I Die Young. I ended up skimming most of it and didn't like it very much. But I rarely put a book down once I've started. I will almost always finish it, but if it's that bad I probably won't read anything else by that author.

This past week on the blog:

No reviews on the blog this week, but you can check out my Goodreads 'Read' shelf to see what I did complete recently. (I finally finished Unearthly!!) Make sure to stop by tomorrow because I am stop #4 for the Anathema book tour by K.A. Tucker!! Interview, giveaways, and fun for all. I have quite a few giveaways coming up as well, so check back soon!!

Happy Weekend!!

  1. I'm the same as you...I rarely Do Not Finish once I start a book, but I am a pretty good judge of what I like to read and I don't usually want to stop reading. Still, it happens occasionally, just not that often.

  2. I admire you for rarely giving up on a book! I tend to put it down a little more quickly if I'm not enjoying it.

  4. I always used to finish books too. I felt that if I started I had to make it till the end. After blogging now for two years, yeah thats over. Im like 50 pages and done if I dont like it....
