This week's teaser from me comes from Diana Gabaldon's OUTLANDER. I'm not currently reading it, but after that signing, I so wish I would start it already! So I decided to read the opening lines of my fancy new copy of the 20th anniversary edition, and here they are:

It wasn't a very likely place for disappearances, at least at first glance. Mrs. Baird's was like a thousand other Highland bed-and-breakfast establishments in 1945; clean and quiet, with fading floral wallpaper, gleaming floors, and a coin-operated hot-water geyser in the lavatory. - Page 1

Lovely!! I can't wait to dive into this story. I've heard nothing but good things. :o) My friend Audra picking it back up again right before we went to the signing, and I know she's enjoying it. I so can't wait!! :o)
