Blog Hop 2

Book Blogger Hop

Hosted by Crazy For Books in the spirit of the Twitter Friday Follow, the Book Blogger Hop is a place just for book bloggers and readers to connect and share our love of the written word! Click the picture above to visit her website for more info.

Q. "If you were given the chance to spend one day in a fictional world (from a book), which book would it be from and what would that place be?"

A. Just because I love the series so much, I would like to visit the Seattle that Richelle Mead created in her Georgina Kincaid Succubus series. It would have to be a day with these characters, too. I just adore Georgina and her world. I feel like an old friend listening to her story when I read these. I would love to work at the bookstore and see the drama unfold.

But if we're talking some fantastical place, I haven't read many fantasy books where another type of world was talked about. I guess I could mention perhaps Faery in Karen Marie Moning's Fever series. Or even her Dublin, Ireland. Who knows. Just visiting Mac's world in general would be really cool!

Happy reading and hopping, bloggers!

  1. Mickey, just hopping through and wanted to say hello. I am not familiar with either of your choices for worlds to live in, but they sound interesting. I've been to real Seattle before, but not the one occupied by succubus, so I wonder how different they are? Either way, I'll make sure to keep up with your site.

  2. Thank you, Conor. It's not that Seattle is different, it's just a different Seattle than the real one, with different people and history. I love those characters! I will go check out your blog!

  3. Karen Marie Moning's Fever is one dark, scary place. I think I much prefer Georgina Kincaid's Succubus series.

  5. Hopping by to visit and follow! I wish Karen Marie Moning would write some YA (my genre), because I know her romance and urban fantasy fans love the worlds she creates.
